Making study groups for students is the best way to raise their interest in class. This is because it helps people to improve insight and outlooks in class and gives them emotional relief and satisfaction when they study.
Group studying is an excellent way of enhancing insights and outlooks on study since students can have more secondhand experience. While growing up, many students are immersed in tons of information through formalized education. Because most of the information and knowledge is conveyed the only sources’ viewpoint, students can easily lose their interest in class if they do not have chances to know a variety of perspectives about topics in class. Therefore, in order to increase students’ interest in class, they should be encouraged to study together and share their opinions about topics from class.
My brother’s experience can be an appropriate example to show the effectiveness of group studying for improving the quality of experience and interest in class. My oldest brother, John, was not interested in mathematics when he was in middle school, so he become distracted easily and procrastinated in his math class. He was lazy and passive in learning math. However, he changed little by little after he was assigned to a math study group with friends with various backgrounds in the class. His friends helped him whenever he was stuck with difficult problems. Over time, he realized that he could overcome most of the math questions by carefully watching how his friends solve math problems. Naturally, he became fully focused on the lecture, and even help other students to figure out math questions in class. He became motivated to maintain a high interest in math by feeling a sense of accomplishment in his study group. As a result, he was able to get straight A’s in his math classes in middle school. Without this experience, he would still have hated math.
In a study group, students can find emotional support and satisfaction. Studying with classmates is also more effective for boosting their moods than other methods as it is more fun and enjoyable. Today, many students are weary with too much stress. By studying together, however, they can overcome their problems while they are solving questions together. In this respect, making study groups can be a great means of invigorating people’s minds. My personal experience can be illustrated to prove this point. Every morning, I have to get through going to school and reading countless texts. To make matters worse, I get exhausted in dealing with college applications. Hence, as a way to solve my schoolwork, I frequently spend my time with my friends having discussions about schoolwork. As I use this method, I am able to alleviate the stress of my homework and have a better understanding and interest in what I learned in school.
To sum up, group studying is the best method to improve students’ interest in class since it gives chances to students to have various perspectives while sharing opinions about topics in class. Also, students can have emotional support, motivation, and satisfaction through group study.
A teacher can be well-liked and effective in students’ education. This is because students like teachers who can lead students to understand contents in class easily and the right way for their promising future.
Teachers with great teaching skills are popular to students because they want to acquire a competitive advantage over other students in a college entrance examination. Nowadays, students face fierce competition in college admissions since there are more candidates than the college can handle. Consequently, it has become extremely difficult to receive admission from popular universities, such as Harvard, MIT, Berkeley, and so on. Thus, teachers effective in students’ education for a college entrance exam are inclined to be sought after by students who want to matriculate at a popular university.
Many students will follow teachers who have great teaching abilities since they can have a comprehensive understanding of students and usher students in the right direction by giving them precious moral lessons and the true value of life. Some students are too immature to have a thorough understanding of life and are likely to become incapable of coping with problems at pivotal moments of their lives. As such times, proficient teachers offer advice for mental maturation and enlighten them about important values so that they can become a better person. Then, students will deeply appreciate the coaching of the teachers.
For example, my oldest brother, John, has a thorough understanding of mathematics and the know-how to teach students effectively, but he was not popular in his school. His students were not interested in mathematics, so they became distracted easily, procrastinated, and acted impulsively in his class. They were lazy, selfish, and passive in learning. However, he did not give up on his students keeping saying “You can change your life when you get in a college”. They changed little by little after they noticed that they would be able to enter a university if they follow John’s teaching. They realized that John’s lecture would help them increase their SAT scores as well as their satisfaction of life, while their laziness could negatively affect them both. Naturally, they became more prompt with time, fully focused on John’s lecture, and even encouraged one another to be more responsible in a class. They became motivated to maintain good behavior by feeling a sense of accomplishment in their study. As a result, many of his students were able to get into college with scholarships. Also, John became so popular that his class was always full of students who want to enter a university.
To sum up, it is possible for a teacher to be popular among students and effective in student’s education at the same time since students like teachers with great skills in teaching and a warm heart to care for their promising future.
